Puzzles!

I am in a puzzle mood today. While I was working on cleaning out part of our spare room/storage room to turn it into the baby's room, I found my tavern puzzles. Tavern puzzles are really cool, click on the link and check them out. http://www.tavernpuzzle.com/

Dan and I also recently finished putting together the puzzle that Dan got me for Christmas. This one was a typical jigsaw puzzle. We had a lot of fun putting it together. Here is the finished...sort of....product:

As you can see, we are missing one piece...we searched everywhere but to no avail. That piece is no where to be found.

Well, that is all for now. Have a great day!

It's about time...

It's been a while since we've written anything....so here it goes....

First and foremost I feel the need to HIGHLY recommend that ya'll listen to "Love Story Meets Viva La Vida (Taylor Smith Remix)" by Jon Schmidt. It is AMAZING. :)

Well, it's been an interesting month. It's gone by quickly...hopefully the next month goes as quickly. The baby is due in just under 4 weeks....I'm hoping he comes on time, I'm ready to meet him. :)

Dan and I went to our Pre-Natal class yesterday and we got to watch the "Miracle of Birth" For those of you who are not familiar with that movie, it is a short film made by BYU that shows 4 different babies being born. Before the movie started, the Labor and Delivery nurse that taught the class asked if anyone was prone to fainting. One girl raised her hand and the nurse suggested that she close her eyes during the movie. I was a little nervous, but it was really cool! It was fun to watch the whole process of the birth. Seeing that baby come out is pretty incredible. They were all so gooey and gross looking, but it was still amazing to see.

That said, I probably won't be thinking the same thing when it's time for Baby Dude to make his grand arrival. ;)

For those of you who don't know, Baby Dude is not the real name of our son. That is just the name that our 2 year old nephew, Kai, gave to him one day.

Anyway, the pre-natal class was really good. It helped to explain a lot of what will actually be happening when the baby is born. It's good to have some sort of an idea what is actually going on.

After the class, Dan and I drove by the hospital so we could see where we're suppose to go...we figured it would be good not to be completely lost when I go into labor. I'm still wondering what it will feel like and if I'll realize that I'm in labor, or if I'll just keep second guessing myself. I also wonder if I'll think I'm in labor when I'm really not. We shall see.

As far as the baby goes, we are starting to get a little more prepared for the baby...sort of....We have the crib, the mattress, a stroller/car seat/baby carrier, a pack and play, some wipes and diapers, baby blankets, and some onesies....but not much else. Most everything is still in boxes too...that is another thing that we need to rectify. Although seeing that we are in the middle of trying to purchase a short sale, setting up a baby room when we could be moving in a couple months is another thing that we're trying to factor in....do we set up a crib just to take it apart and move it a month later? We shall see...I should probably start getting us more prepared....that too is something that will come with time. Baby dude, you'd better give us at least a few weeks before you come. :)

Well, I can't think of too much more to write about right now....hopefully we'll be on the ball enough to post at least one more entry before the baby comes...given our recent track record that may not happen. Should we fail to post something before then at least I know what the next post will be about! :)
